Big Announcement Coming Soon from Cosa Nostra News

“Vinny had a glass jaw but he’d fight at the drop of a dime. He’d get his ass kicked, but he didn’t give a fuck...
"Vinny was also a stone-cold killer, so believe you me, whoever did the kicking was not long for this earth.”

  1. Till this day I feel for Vinny, even though he sold me out....

    ReplyDelete
  2. I dont think its right for vinny to be housed right next to those jihadist/al queda scumbags at florence, colorado. You play you pay but that is just extreme.

    ReplyDelete
  3. They're probably punishing him for something. Believe me, he's the official boss of that family. The feds deported Montagna cause he was Vinny's guy on the street. Sal was a Bronx Bonanno sip...Mancuso, also a Bronx faction Bonanno. Vinny shifted the power to the Bronx, where Vinny lived, from Massino in Queens. Also a lot of Vinny's beloved zips are from Queens. You watch where the "boss" is from....

    ReplyDelete
  4. I've read the DeStefano book, Dom. It's pretty clear what happened. Vinny told Tartag about you. He was too clever not to know by then the guy was wired. Then that shit the attorneys saw, Vinny ordering you to testify on his behalf or something? From what I've read the Feds didn't know you existed until Vinny Gorgeous told them. My two cents....

    ReplyDelete
  5. Ed, you are correct with your two cents, yet I make no excuses for flipping. Loyalty is a two way street and I was not going to be Vinny's scape goat....

NOTE: COMING SOON... The release of my Graphic Novel, "MAFIA APOCALYPSE.... THE BEGINNING..." On Black Friday the world will know about revenge....

  6. Coming in a few weeks... Revenge Strikes on Black Friday 11/28/2014 is just the beginning...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Have you read the book? He's def one of my favorite gangsters as well.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ed. Disregard my last post. I am subscribed to your newsletter. I am very excited about your book. How do I read it?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Disregard what post?? Did you get the newsletter yet? The book will be available Friday, though it may take an extra day or two. Certain parts of the process are out of my hands. Thanks, Deacon. I have a link on my Facebook book for those of you who don't have the newsletter. Or you can sign up -- look in left hand column or bottom of page...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Sign-up is in the left-hand column or bottom of page. Also see my FB page..... Jimmy you new on here? Welcome.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Disregard my first post inquiring about your newsletter. I figured it out on my own through your FB and subscribed. I love mob books more than anything else. I prefer print but am not opposed to trying the EBook. How do I purchase it?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Looking forward to the story. I am sure DC (Dom) will be filling in the blanks. If anyone knows it would be him. Keep it real fella's ;)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Long time reader, first time to comment. Thanks! keep up the great work

    ReplyDelete
  24. No, cant get it anywhere in Ireland unfortunately

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ed, is there anyway you could email me this story on Basciano? I subscriped to the newsletters, thanks

    ReplyDelete
  26. What ever happened to Anthony Aiello? Last I heard, he was on the run

    ReplyDelete
  27. Isn't Mancuso the boss now?

    ReplyDelete
  28. You do realize once vinny's 3 sons come home, they are going to try to kill you. You know vinny jr is a hothead and wants to enact vengence. If you get killed god forbid, the feds are going to discard you because you left the program. basically your safety isn't there sole responsibility anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Sciascia, guys like you get me in trouble. When a Joe Colombo left a comment I blew him off using profanity-laced venom.... turned out to really be Joe Colombo III, the grandson of the legend. Sorry again, Joe, if you're reading this....you'll have to read the book when it's available, which should be by Friday. I will say this: Vinny's position was made official the moment it was revealed Massino flipped... There's more to it than that....

    ReplyDelete
  30. Jimmy, Vinny and Dom were together for around seven years.... There's no single story about Vinny.... he's mentioned throughout.... I wanna sell the thing so how can I email you all the info about Vinny? Dominick doesn't say a bad word about the guy, he worshipped Vinny and still has a lot of conflicting emotions about what happened between them. I'll say this, you will learn stuff about Vinny and others (Mancuso, Montagna, Sciascia, others) you never knew. This is the first of an intended series as well. And I've read DeStefano's book....two-three times. He used Dom's testimony.... there must be 100,000 pages of it. I admire DeStefano and will say my book is in no way derivative of his book. I didn't set out to rewrite that book, I purposely avoided it, though I certainly acknowledge it....

    ReplyDelete
  31. Well, let me put it this way.... if I knew I wouldn't put it in a book....

    ReplyDelete
  32. You'll be very interested in "Inside the Last Great Mafia Empire"....

    ReplyDelete
  33. I think Dom would be aware of that.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anthony plead guilty a and took a 30 year sentence. I believe he is at Ray Brook. Plead with mancuso and indelicato I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ed, is it gonna be available as an E-book for Nook or just a reg book?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Kindle ebook, first... a print edition may be be available at a later date...

    ReplyDelete
  37. Aiello (aka "Ace" & "T"), Indelicato, and Donato aka "The 3 Anthonys" all plead guilty, along with Michael Mancuso in 2008. Aiello, from Middle Village (my favorite place LOL) is in Connecticut.

His father and grandfather were major players in the "PIzza Connection" ring from 3 decades ago that used pizzerias in New York, Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Spain, Italy and Switzerland.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Interesting story about Ace, while he was subject of international manhunt....http://www.nysun.com/new-york/fathers-and-sons-and-lessons-of-crime/9355/

    ReplyDelete
  39. Wouldn't you, though? What makes you a good
writer, from what I've seen so far, is that you are not intimidated by the
subjects you write about. I've seen people make obvious threats to your life on
CNN and that only seems to fuel your writing. But that's just my observation. Remember when then Assistant US Attorney Greg Andres allegedly received the death threat from the Bonanno family back then? He could have withdrawn from the case. Instead, he went after them with both barrels! "DC" knows this better than anybody, right "DC"?

    As for Vincent Basciano referring
to Aiello as a "Luca Brasi", well, if history has told us anything,
it's that Basciano isn't always right.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hey Jimmy. I got my copy of the Gorgeous book from Amazon. Standard mob book writing, but very informative. I imagine he'll be a fixture in Ed's book, which I'm excited about.

    ReplyDelete
  41. That wasn't Basciano's nickname for Ace though.... I've only been threatened once in my life on this blog (as far as I know). I have a habit of not revealing the names of wiseguys who are unknown to law enforcement, and never revealing new crimes. There are hundreds of blogs covering the Mafia.... I don't think the Mafia really gives two shit about what I write.... Perhaps you know differently?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Took his time like a man, fair play

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thanks Ed, appreciate the great info :) . is ''Inside the Last Great Mafia Empire'' Cicales book? Did I read somewhere you are writing a book??

    ReplyDelete
  44. Email me at www.DinnerTime@hotmail.com thanks

    ReplyDelete
  45. Actually RICO I'm not sure what to make of your comment. Care to enlighten me, maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  46. That wasn't Vinny's nickname for him though...

    ReplyDelete
  47. most likely he does but what he also has to fear is that maybe his old crime family will outsource the killing, so the murder wouldn't be pinned on them. Los zetas cartel boss osiel cardenas is housed in the same facility as vinny gorgeous. Vinny might just form a mutually beneficial relationship with him. or as they say in that life "farm it out".

    ReplyDelete
  48. Dominick does have a point -- it is confirmed in DeStefano's book. Basciano named Dominick to a guy who everyone knew was wearing a wire -- Big Lou Tartaglione. The FBI didn't know Dominick existed - the Feds made him a "person of interest" directly as a result of that mention. Also, if you have "Vinny Gorgeous: The Ugly Rise and Fall..." see p. 185...it reads "Savitt noticed something strange. He spotted Basciano pulling Cicale off to the side..." Let me know if you don't have a copy. I will type it up for you....

    ReplyDelete
  49. Ronen, honestly, I get a lot of emails, I mean A LOT... people also message me on Facebook and Twitter, so much so I hardly go on the sites -- or if I do, I rush off.... but everything I've heard tells me the brothers are more concerned about Dominick coming for them. You have it upside down....

    ReplyDelete
  50. my apologies then for asking to many questions.

    ReplyDelete
  51. we're coauthors of the book.....

    ReplyDelete
  52. No apologies necessary! We're just discussing topics we probably shouldn't discuss on a public message board. My email is eddie2843@gmail.com.....

    ReplyDelete
  53. just sent ya an email titled "Hey its ronen from your blog"

    ReplyDelete
  54. Ed, Is the book available in Canada? I'd like to read it.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Wouldn't be any other way....

    ReplyDelete
  56. Thanks, George, if you have access to Amazon dot com you will have access, fear not - as I noted somewhere else: I will put links everywhere when it is available -- probably Friday-Monday, this coming....

    ReplyDelete
  57. Please continue Ed, if you would...

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ed how can I get this in UK?

    ReplyDelete
  59. PS, one of the pizzerias, still owned by a certain family, who happens to have been part of the "Pizza Connection" (they've all done time) is ALSO in Middle Village (Queens, NY)

    ReplyDelete
  60. "the mob would never kill a prosecutor?" - GIOVANNI FALCONE, PAOLO BORSELLINO, NICOLA GRATTERI...

    ReplyDelete
  61. The American Mob will never kill a prosecutor. That's what got Dutch Shultz whacked. He wanted to kill Dewey.

    ReplyDelete
  62. How about writing about the Latest Great Mafia Empire? The Genovese Family. They are still going strong big time. I don't think there's really ever been a full blown out tell all book on them.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Well, gotta work with what I got! LOL!! But Dom was set to join the Genovese family, was tight with a Big E. in the Bronx. Then he met Bruno Indelicato. He was very tight with one of the four Doms, too. I know the names, don't want to publish without Dom's okay. Dom told me who the bosses are of the various families. Lemme say this, I never even heard of four.....he says VB still runs Bonannos. Mancuso, who everyone thinks is boss, is a Bronx guy, which supports VB being boss. Plus as noted in the book, don't think the Nose would be acceptable among rank and file who know him....
