Philadelphia Wiseguy Joey Electric Servidio Gets 15 Years For Dealing Drugs In Atlantic City Area

UPDATED South Jersey resident Joseph (Joey Electric) Servidio, 60, a reputed soldier in the Philadelphia crime family, was sentenced last Thursday to 15 years in Federal prison for pushing crystal methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl-laced pills. Atlantic City-Based Wiseguy Who Copped To Dealing Meth Sentenced

A Philadelphia Mafia member who is based in Atlantic City, New Jersey, was sentenced on Thursday to 12.5 years in prison for selling around half a pound of crystal methamphetamine. He also had staged a fake robbery of a New Jersey pawnshop to perpetrate an insurance fraud, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced. Salvatore (Sam) Piccolo, 68, of Atlantic City, a member of the Philadelphia La Cosa Nostra organized crime family, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Robert B. Kugler earlier this year to distributing methamphetamine and one count of wire fraud. Judge Kugler imposed the sentence in Camden federal court. According to documents filed in this case and statements made in court: Piccolo distributed quantities of crystal methamphetamine to FBI undercover agents on three separate occasions between June 2017 and September 2017. Recent Arrests of Philadelphia Mobsters Part of Larger Probe

The FBI  arrested three South-Jersey-based wiseguys - - Joseph “Joey Electric” Servidio, Carl Chianese, and Michael Gallichio -- last week for “conspiring to possess” drugs with intent to sell them. Uncle Joe isn't a target of the investigation.... The complaint details what could potentially be part of a larger investigation of  the Philadelphia Cosa Nostra family. In addition to the three who are being detained, several unidentified mobsters (INDIVIDUAL 1, 2, and 3) and the Philadelphia hierarchy are mentioned in the complaint, which further notes that two turncoats facilitated the operation, one of them for years. The overall probe was tightly wound around a made member of the Philadelphia crime family, though it's easy to speculate that there's more to this. The men, all of whom have drug convictions, were indicted and arrested on March 14 for selling drugs across the state. The case also involved confidential sources-- one, CS-1 in the indictment, is "a made member of the Philadelphia LCN" who's been giving the FBI information since 2015; he's also "personally familiar with numerous associates and members " of the Philadelphia mob -- and undercover agents.
