Guercio on "Nightmare" Nightclub Attack on Boyfriend London

Image
Natalie Guercio It wasn't a mob attack, which most of us knew all along, and it didn't involve the VH1 reality show, which some of us aren't so sure about. “ Mob Wives ” star Natalie Guercio , a single mom, recently gave a Fox News affiliate the downlow on the attack on her boyfriend at a Brooklyn nightclub. (We also have a point to make about "rats" afterward.) The attack apparently was unprecipitated and came from out of nowhere, Guercio said. "We went out and somebody attacked him. Somebody attacked him when he wasn’t looking and it was just a nightmare. It was gory. There was blood.

DiMichele Pleads Guilty Again, Agrees to $40G Restitution

Image
DiMichele Alicia DiMichele is due to plead guilty in Brooklyn Federal Court next month for stealing union funds, the newspapers reported today. We'll believe it when it happens, as this case has been fraught with twists and turns . This means DiMichele will change her plea yet again in order to agree to pay $40,000 in restitution to Teamsters Local 282 for embezzling funds "— but her brother had to step in Tuesday to write the first check," the New York Daily News reported .  Brother Anthony wrote a check out for the initial restitution payment of $20,000. As noted, Judge Sandra Townes allowed DiMichele to change her not guilty plea because the judge had decided to impose a restitution amount even larger than the hefty $116,000 prosecutors were then seeking. The parties had originally agreed to an amount of $20,000. Basically, Townes prompted DiMichele to agree to pay twice the amount of the original agreement.

DiMichele Changes Plea After Anti-Mafia Judge Sides with Union

Image
Just a crazy gal! Alicia DiMichele stands outside her Addiction boutique clothing store, presumably smiling for paparazzi As we've long noted ,   Judge Sandra Townes does not go easy on organized crime figures  in her courtroom. The surprising twist that played out yesterday in Alicia DiMichele's case in Brooklyn Federal Court stems from Judge Townes' view that DiMichele should pay millions in fines and restitution to a union's benefits fund, which DiMichele had originally plead guilty to pilfering as per a Colombo family racket.  In the end, Judge Townes accepted a figure even larger than the hefty $116,000 prosecutors had been seeking, versus the $20,000 amount originally agreed to. Although it may or may not have had an impact on Judge Townes's decision (though considering DiMichele's lawyer's harsh words for the reailty show , we kinda believe it did have an impact on the decision), it appears that DiMichele certainly didn't h...

Eddie "Tall Guy" Garofalo Cheated With Big Ang’s Daughter?

Image
Big Ang and daughter, Racquel Celeb Dirty Laundry  earned its name with its recent report that Alicia DiMichele , convinced that Renee and her friend Carla Murino (whom DiMichele has repeatedly accused of having an affair with her husband, Colombo gangster Eddie "Tall Guy" Garofalo ) are “rats” who are selling her out to the press, is actually partly correct -- someone has had an affair with Tall Guy. A source close to Carla Murino told Dirty Laundry that Alicia's belief that a member of her inner circle has done her dirty -- only it isn't Carla Murino or Renee Graziano. The blog notes that, on the latest episode of Mob Wives, Big Ang was actually misleading DiMichele and had an ulterior motive regarding why she has been siding with the Philly mob wife and fueling the feud between her and Rene.

Manny Garofalo Speaks Out

Image
Kenji Gallo, Colombo turncoat who  wrote Breakshot. “Alicia has chosen to humiliate my nephew Edward and our entire family in the name of my brother who she never even knew. The show’s stupid. I think it’s disgraceful. It’s blood money. It’s my brother’s blood.” That's what Emmanuel "Manny" Garofalo had to say about Alicia DiMichele and "Mob Wives" in an interview with the New York Daily News . Manny added that he is so sickened by this "exploitation" of the murder of his brother, Eddie "The Chink," that he's thinking of selling his home and moving to a place where he won't be recognized.

DiMichele's 'Mob Wives' Salary Revealed by Prosecutors

Image
Alicia DiMichele's "Mob Wives" salary was revealed by prosecutors. Alicia DiMichele, who is to be sentenced tomorrow for her role in a Colombo crime family-related embezzlement scam,  earns $8,000 per episode of "Mob Wives," for a total of $96,000. That is according to papers prosecutors filed in Brooklyn federal court last Friday. DiMichele is, in fact, so flush from her earnings from "Mob Wives" and her two Philadelphia boutique stories that she faces a hefty fine of up to $116,000  for embezzling $40,000 from a trucking company, according to prosecutors. Prosecutors seem to be taking their cue from the Honorable Sandra L. Townes, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

Lee D'Avanzo Cause of Mob Wives Reboot?

Image
Karen Gravano may have been on to something when she said someone wanted her off the show. But according to a source who spoke with Cosa Nostra News on condition of anonymity, that someone is Lee D'Avanzo , not Eddie Garofalo. Lee and Drita D'Avanzo. We wrote in a previous post  that Alicia DiMichele 's husband, Edward "Tall Guy" Garofalo, is "figuring to be a major star" in the upcoming season. This was based on a Jerry Capeci story in which Karen Gravano was the source (there were two other sources, but only Karen went on record). Karen had a theory about why Jennifer had revamped most of the cast of "Mob Wives" -- supposedly to make DiMichele and Garofalo's former marriage a centerpiece of the show. The Tall Guy has been in jail for three years and will soon head off to prison to serve his seven years  sentence . Alicia learns her fate in January, as we noted . According to Karen, it was the Tall Guy who secured his wife a ...

Did Someone Confuse the Tall Guy and Lee D'Avanzo?

Image
The Garofalos. As we reported in a previous post : Karen Gravano is claiming Edward "Tall Guy" Garofalo was a key player in putting together the cast of the latest season of "Mob Wives," which now includes his wife . Gravano also said -- you'll have to re-read the post for a full recap if you're interested as I don't feel like rewriting the damn thing-- "Apparently Jen also gets Tall Guy himself, as well. As Capeci wrote: Garofalo will be heard on the show via select tape recordings. An honest to God gangster will speak on Mob Wives! ..." We have been hearing a gangster's voice on the phone. Only it's not the Tall Guy's...

DiMichelle To Face Tough Judge on Sentencing Day

Image
New mob wives Alicia, left, and Natalie. When the New York Post makes a cover story out of you visiting a courthouse to hear a judge sentence your husband to prison and focuses much of the reporting on the clothes you are wearing, you can pretty much conclude your 15 minutes have begun. It was the day after the "Mob Wives" premiere, at which at least one party goer was brought to the hospital following the major brawl that busted out  there, and Alicia DiMichele, a new star on the show, was off to attend the sentencing of her husband, reputed Colombo enforcer Edward "Tall Guy" Garofalo, Jr. , at Brooklyn Federal Court. Federal Judge Sandra Townes sentenced the mobster to seven years in prison for murder conspiracy, extortion and witness tampering. Next month the judge will sentence DiMichele, 40, for embezzling union funds from a trucking company she and her husband once owned. Like most of us would be in in her shoes, she is concerned, she told Radar...

Husband of This "Mob Wives" Star Actually Is a Mobster

Image
Alicia DiMichele, wife of a member of the Colombo crime family, will star on VH1's "Mob Wives" when it debuts this year -- with DiMichele and another Philadelphia mob wife replacing Karen Gravano, Ramona Rizzo and Carla Facciolo. Not exactly breaking news, we know, but what is interesting is some other information posted on Gang Land News last week. Alicia DiMichele Namely that DiMichele's husband, Edward "Tall Guy" Garofalo, is "figuring to be a major star" in the upcoming season. DiMichele and Garofalo's former marriage is supposedly going to form a centerpiece of the show, according to three sources, Capeci reported, one of them being Karen Gravano.
