Interview With "Mob Wives" Cast Member

Image
This year Mob Wives really lived up to its tagline: Trust No One.... This year most of the drama on Mob Wives occurred off screen and after the season ended following a two-part reunion that got heated enough to make Vivica Fox weep. (It almost makes you forget she did a pretty good job kicking ass herself in Kill Bill. See pic--->.) Since episode one, the major dynamic of the entire season was proclaimed loud and clear: this year it's all about the bitch called pay back that ultimately took the form of an implied major confrontation between Natalie Guercio and Natalie DiDonato. But the big fistfight or shootout or whatever we all expected never happened. (Nor did we relish the thought of it. We don't like the idea of two women fighting.... we want women to act, well, womanly, not like dudes...And, yes, we did interview one of the cast members and we will get to her following some prefatory remarks.)

Guercio Audio Played for Drita on Mob Wives....

Image
It's difficult keeping up with Mob Wives' season five "rats" subplot. Everyone on the show is a rat and/or is accusing someone else of being a rat. This is all nonsense, of course -- as was most of Mob Wives .   Many friends needed to unburden themselves by telling me: Ed, the show ain't real...   I know it wasn't real. So what? This is a blog.... people don't understand that writing about fake reality shows is a pretense that allows one to slip social commentary inside the story.   The problem is that if you do this too shrewdly, it may fly over readers' heads. (The obverse is true too, however: if you do it clumsily, the same thing might happen anyway.)    Anyway I am reposting this on 12/29/2016 as I update coding on the 1,600-something blog pages. (I am loving every minute of this -- I just may blow my brains out depending on how many more hours of this I have to go. I intend to copy and paste code until I awake facedown on...

VH1 Mob Wives Series Finale: Will There Be Blood?

Image
Tonight is VH1's  Mob Wives series finale. We finally got a chance to watch last week's episode and came to a realization hypothesis: Renee's baptism plays out, then we cut to a restaurant scene where Natalie DiDonato is providing Drita with proof that supposedly will finish off Natalie Guercio . Kind of like The Godfather's infamous baptism scene in which Michael Corleone is taking part in the ceremony in a Catholic Church, no? The scene is inter-cut with scenes of the enemies of the Corleone family getting whacked one by one, and is probably one of the most famous scenes in film history (if not history, period.)

Guercio on "Nightmare" Nightclub Attack on Boyfriend London

Image
Natalie Guercio It wasn't a mob attack, which most of us knew all along, and it didn't involve the VH1 reality show, which some of us aren't so sure about. “ Mob Wives ” star Natalie Guercio , a single mom, recently gave a Fox News affiliate the downlow on the attack on her boyfriend at a Brooklyn nightclub. (We also have a point to make about "rats" afterward.) The attack apparently was unprecipitated and came from out of nowhere, Guercio said. "We went out and somebody attacked him. Somebody attacked him when he wasn’t looking and it was just a nightmare. It was gory. There was blood.

Jenn Graziano, VH1 Served Cease-and-Desist Letter

Image
"I love the name of it. It came about because I love color. Color changes your mood." Renee on her "invention" of the Mob Candy brand, after she posed for this picture. EXCLUSIVE: Both VH1 and Jennifer Graziano today received cease-and-desist letters from an attorney regarding Renee Graziano's continued use of the Mob Candy name on items for which she does not have the rights, according to a source close to the case who sent us a copy of the two letters. Noting that Renee had ignored previous letters sent to her, the copyright holders' law firm is putting both the " Mob Wives " network and Jennifer Graziano herself on notice that the firm has been "instructed to begin legal action against you if you allow these infringements to continue."

Half Wits Write Pro-Renee Mob Wives Blog

Image
Renee Graziano, courtesy of Instagram. (She lost a lot of weight!) While doing research, I caught a few "news" headlines that invited scrutiny.  I honestly still wonder what the world's coming to....  Every single one of the stories was from the blog I have previously mentioned , which I am now certain is written and not edited by half wits so obviously biased about the VH1 reality show "Mob Wives" that it's ridiculous.

Mob Wives Hottie Natalie Sees the Frame; Gravano's "Breakdown"

Image
We have written that Karen Gravano departed her Arizona home, hopped on a plane (leaving behind her husband and children, as she herself admitted during what we can only call a "dramatic breakdown" during the last episode of " Mob Wives ") and flew cross country to New York so she could defend and/or support and/or whatever her good friend Renee in the face of a vicious tweet Natalie posted . As I have learned this past week, Karen Gravano did not come to New York to defend Renee because Natalie posted a nasty Tweet. Natalie never even posted the nasty tweet in the first place. In fact, Karen had been bashing Natalie and others on Twitter long before anyone else, and Natalie was simply defending herself and friend Alicia DiMichele.

Philly Mob Boss Whacked Natalie DiDonato's Cousin, Frankie Flowers

Image
Philadelphia's Natalie Guercio will soon be joined by Philadelphia's Natalie DiDonato on the VH1 reality show Mob Wives. We don't know when the new Natalie will appear but she's rolled out her social media accounts and has been stomping on Natalie Guercio's guts.... and deleting at least one earlier tweet that noted a family connection, specifically that "Frankie Flowers" was her cousin. Natalie Didonato Joseph "Uncle Joe" Ligambi allegedly "made his bones" by killing DiDonato's cousin -- assuming Frank "Frankie Flowers" D'Alfonso is her cousin.

Suspect Named in 'Mob Wives'-related Slashing Attack

Image
From TMZ/Instagram Rodolfo “Rudy” Lopez is wanted for the box cutter attack that left London Rene, 37, with gashes on his face, stomach and arm after a dispute outside Club Output, sources said. " Mob Wives " star Natalie Guercio 's boyfriend, Rene was knifed in a Brooklyn nightclub, toward the end of December. TMZ broke the story, noting that Rene has been slashed on the right side of his face after the attack in Club Output  [in Williamsburg, Brooklyn ]. Rene was hospitalized following the attack, and according to TMZ, he told police officers he considered himself lucky to be alive.

UPDATED: Mob Wives Season Five: Reality Check

Image
Natalie is smokin'... From Enstars : The new season of VH1 hit reality show Mob Wives should be called World War III because the woman on the show are at war, literally, and the drama doesn't look like it's dying down anytime soon. Season 5 of the reality series made its debut on Wednesday and by the looks of the show, it's clear that the women may be not be in a jolly mood this holiday season. During the season 5 premiere of 'Trust No One,' viewers quickly learn that cast mates Angela Raiola (Big Ang) and Drita D'avanzo are now opening up to Natalie Guercio (Renee Graziano's sworn enemy) and of course that wasn't going to sit well with Graziano. Luckily for Graziano, she didn't cast all of her trust in one basket, and her BFF Karen Gravano is back and the two are not a force to be reckoned with; Guercio is going to learn this lesson the hard way. In addition to the dynamic duo being the best of friends, their fans have their backs, and a...

Get Ready for Mob Wives Season Five in December

Image
Make sure you are watching at the 10 minutes 35 seconds part....from April.... REVISED, INCLUDES BACKLINKS:  " Mob Wives " season five is slated to commence in December. How is Vito Rizzuto involved in this story? Keep reading.... Check out the above video of Sway interviewing Renee and Jennifer Graziano . I had never listened to or even heard of Sway: I think he's pretty damn good. He comes off all folksy and polite and supportive to kind of disarm the guests. The questions he poses are quite relevant. He's asking about the right stuff -- and not really getting any answers. The Grazianos chose this forum to bolster sales of their cookbook, the one with Meat Cleaver in the title.

Drita Slams Scout Willis; Cast Responds to DiMichele's Exit

Image
" Mob Wives " makes news (if you can call it that) between seasons. First, one website we've never heard of writes about Drita D'Avanzo 's response to a stunt pulled by Scout Willis  last week. She walked around New York City with her breasts hanging out. Protest, you see... over something or other. Renee Graziano gave the website (ENSTARZ?) a video interview -- Renee talks to anyone these days, except us. The interview is about her new book . Then RadarOnline rounds up responses from cast members regarding the news that Alicia DiMichele had quit the show . (Hey, at least I don't post this kind of stuff every day!) I thought about Renee while watching the 2013 documentary about Gore Vidal , one of the greatest writers of all time. Visions of her announcing her book popped into my head as Vidal, who died the year before the film's release, said in a whisper: "It was very, very clear.... You don't decide to be a writer. You are one or yo...

Natalie Guercio Affirms Publicly Her Support of Alicia DiMichele

Image
Nat Guercio shows some love... Needed something upbeat... Stories I am researching -- Ontario Mafia wars, my nasty Open Letter to Frank Lino, and Anastasia's last day (some unusual things happened in the hours before Don Umberto's last shave and haircut that offer insight into a possible motive other than the historic ones) -- are pretty damn depressing. I mean, let's face it, some of these guys were regular mass murderers... Needed something a little lighter for now, cause, folks, this site is going to get much darker pretty soon.... These are difficult time for Alicia DiMichele (seems she's dropped the "Garofalo") and one of her friends--and one of our favorite members of the "Mob Wives" cast, Natalie Guercio--showed her support very publicly via social media, according to a blog that must have a lot of time on its hand to eyeball the ceaseless stream of social media traffic (we thank them for their efforts, and link and credit them accord...

A Real Man Never Hits a Woman

Image
We at Cosa Nostra News are amazed anyone would even debate who was at fault in this situation. Our grandmother taught us: a real man never hits a woman, even if she calls him bad, awful names... even if she were to punch him in the face. This bouncer should be ashamed of himself, as should any blog that hints something like Guercio is going to "call the Mafia in" -- to supposedly what? Beat the guy up? Kill him? That's sheer nonsense... Reality TV star Natalie Guercio was punched in the face by a bouncer at Delilah's Gentleman's Club last Thursday when she was judging the Entertainment of the Year event Police arrived and took down a report; Natalie ended up in the emergency room sporting a battered face. Natalie did not press charges.

"Mob Wives" Ends on So-What Note, But Season 5 Is On

Image
Natalie, far right, had the gall to tweet... Mob Wives: New Blood was renewed for a fifth season this morning, following a terminally boring show finale last night. (Yes, we know the Reunion is next week, and Natalie and Renee are going to fight some more.) The question remains, though: Who will be returning/not-returning for the fifth and, we predict, final season... It's hard to write with passion about this show. I have come to a realization: the show, scripted or not, is serving merely as a platform to enrich these women so they'll never have to work again. Is it coincidence that Renee, suddenly in the last episode, has written a novel, and has even found a publisher? (Probably sis acted as the agent and probably hired the ghostwriter, too) And the publisher is even throwing a book debut party--just in time for the season finale. (Of all the curve balls in reality TV, this is the most spectacularly offensive.) Now, I can't recall, was there even one scen...

DiMichelle To Face Tough Judge on Sentencing Day

Image
New mob wives Alicia, left, and Natalie. When the New York Post makes a cover story out of you visiting a courthouse to hear a judge sentence your husband to prison and focuses much of the reporting on the clothes you are wearing, you can pretty much conclude your 15 minutes have begun. It was the day after the "Mob Wives" premiere, at which at least one party goer was brought to the hospital following the major brawl that busted out  there, and Alicia DiMichele, a new star on the show, was off to attend the sentencing of her husband, reputed Colombo enforcer Edward "Tall Guy" Garofalo, Jr. , at Brooklyn Federal Court. Federal Judge Sandra Townes sentenced the mobster to seven years in prison for murder conspiracy, extortion and witness tampering. Next month the judge will sentence DiMichele, 40, for embezzling union funds from a trucking company she and her husband once owned. Like most of us would be in in her shoes, she is concerned, she told Radar...

Wanna Know Each Mob Wife's Net Worth? Read On

Image
CelebrityNetWorth.com, founded in October 2009 in Los Angeles, claims it has grown into "one of the most popular and influential celebrity finance outlets on the Internet." "Whether you're looking for the latest net worth and salary of your favorite celebrity or you want to stay up to date on all the most expensive products and gizmos in the world, Celebritynetworth has you covered," the site declares. Drita D'Avanzo is up there but Big Ang is the wealthiest of all... All its figures and articles are thoroughly researched, scrutinized and fact checked by writers and financial analysts, the site notes, adding that the figures are acquired from publicly available information, including salaries, real estate holdings, divorces, record sales, royalties and endorsements. The estimated net worths come from a formula that takes out taxes, manager’s fees, agents’ fees, and lifestyle. So, of course, we immediately checked out what the low-down was, ...
