Mob Home-Invasion Robber Violates Release Terms

A Mafia-connected robber who once duct-taped a woman in a lucrative home invasion robbery is back in trouble, accused of violating the terms of his release from federal prison, according to SILive.com.

Kyriakos Evangelou, 28, of Merriman Avenue in Castleton Corners, was taken into custody on a federal warrant yesterday, after he failed three separate drug tests, fell behind on his restitution payments and acted out during drug treatment meetings, public records show.

He’s since been released, but not before his family members put up $50,000 bail to get him out from behind bars.
